TREATMENT AND PREVENTION THROUGH POWERFUL PROGRAMS

How your employees are feeling physically has a lot to do with their workstyle. Whether they bend, stoop, life or perform repetitive motions for hours on end, it is how their bodies feel that indicates their risk for a work injury. At Barrows Training and Education Physical Therapy, we work with employers and employees toward preventing work-related injuries, helping to save valuable dollars, lost time and a lot of pain for both.

Barrows uses the strengths of our trained physical therapists and their team to promote the prevention, care and rehabilitation of orthopedic, occupational and repetitive-strain injuries.

Our therapists utilize some of the top testing programs available today, to evaluate potential employees’ physical capabilities of doing their jobs as well as assess ergonomics and provide functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) using the renowned WorkSTEPS ®
Program. WorkSTEPS is designed to provide employers with an objective, medically and legally defensible employment testing program that reduces work-place injury incidence and injury costs, reduces lost time and creates accountability for employees and the providers who treat them.

If you’re an employer or any employee who is concerned about work injury please ask any of the barrows team about our programs that can make a difference for your company’s bottom line.

BARROWS IS THERE FOR YOUR BOTTOM LINE:

We focus on an active injury approach to restoring function and return to work. Whether your workplace injury has occurred from an accident or from overuse, you will find us programs helpful to:

• We will educate your employees on how to maintain safe work habits.
• We will evaluate employees and their environments to ensure safety.
• And we will rehabilitate injured workers to return them to work in a safe and effective manner.
